【摘要】:ThisPart2-4ofIEC60884appliestoplugs,fixedorportablesocket-outlets,andtosocketoutletsforappliancesfrom6Vuptoandincluding48Vd.c.ora.c.(50/60Hz)SELVwithratedcurrentof16A,intendedforhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,eitherindoorsoroutdoors.NOTE1Theextensionofthisstandardtohigherfrequenciesisunderconsideration.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverrequirementsforflushmountingboxes;itcoversonlythoserequirementsforsurface-typemountingboxeswhicharenecessaryforthetestsonthesocketoutlet.Thisstandardalsoappliestoplugsandsocket-outletsincorporatedincordextensionsetsorintegratedinorincorporatedinappliancesorintendedtobefixedtothem.NOTE2Asocket-outletintegratedinanapplianceorequipmentisasocket-outletwhichisformedbythehousingoftheapplianceorequipment.Asocket-outletincorporatedinanapplianceorequipmentisaseparatesocket-outletbuiltinorfixedtoanapplianceorequipment.Inaddition,socket-outletsforappliancesorequipmentmustcomplywithIEC60884-2-2.Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto–plugs,socket-outletsandcouplersforindustrialpurposes;–appliancecouplers;–fixedsocket-outletscombinedwithfuses,automaticswitches,etc.Plugsandfixedorportablesocket-outletscomplyingwiththisstandardaresuitableforuseatambienttemperaturesnotnormallyexceeding25°C,butoccasionallyreaching35°C.NOTE3Socket-outletscomplyingwiththisstandardareonlysuitableforincorporationinequipmentinsuchawayandinsuchaplacethatitisunlikelythatthesurroundingtemperatureexceeds35°C.Inlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasinships,vehiclesandthelike,andinhazardouslocations,forexamplewhereexplosionsareliabletooccur,specialconstructionsmayberequired.
