【摘要】:Thisguideprovidesinformationonthecalibrationofboom-typefieldsprayersusedforbroadcast,band,orrowapplications.Itiseasilyadaptedtoboomlessandair-carriertypesprayersforbroadcastapplicationsandtorotaryatomizerssuchasspinningdisks.Asinglecalibrationprocedurethatisapplicableinallsituationsisnotfeasiblebecauseofthenatureofthevariablesinvolvedinpesticideapplication.Electroniccontrollersandotheraidsshouldbecalibratedbyoneofthesemethods.1.1Thisguideisforthosewhopreparefieldsprayercalibrationprocedures.Thepurposeistoencouragemethodsthatwillimproveuniformity,accuracy,andsafetyofpesticideapplicationwithfieldsprayers.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecifichazardstatementsseeSection4.
