【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesthedimensionsandtechnicaldeliveryconditionsforstudboltsintendedforuseinlightmetals(includingaluminium).Studoboltscomplyingwiththisstandardarenotsuitableforuseinsteelorcastiron.Foreconomicreasons,itisrecommendedthat,insteadofstudswithaverysmallunthreadedportion,studboltswithaninterference-fitthreadbeusedforsuchapplications.However,careshouldbetakenthattherequireddepthofthreadengagementisensured,sincestudboltsarenotprovidedwithathreadrun-out,whichnormallydeterminesthedepthofthreadengagement.AttentionisdrawntothefactthatstudboltswithlengthsexceedingthosespecifiedforthelengthsofengagementinDIN8141-1mightnotbetruetogauge.
